With Radical Self-Acceptance, We Are Unstoppable.

Sara’s on a mission to spread Radical Self-Acceptance so that people can unlock their true power and potential. By embracing all of who you are (the good, the bad, and especially the ugly), you can bust through barriers, reclaim power and energy and live a life you love.

For the last 12 years, Sara has worked in the world of educating and empowering others, sharing practical tools to unleashing their power and stepping into leadership. More than anything, I want others to be comfortable in their own skin, so they can take bigger risks and make the difference they want in the world.

Currently an Adjunct Professor of Public Speaking at Marist College, Sara encourages her students to step out and be heard because their voices matter.  She has also served as Program Director for Girls’ Leadership Worldwide at the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center, an international program that empowers adolescent girls to become the next generation of social justice leaders.

During her five years as an English and Social Studies teacher, Sara delivered presentations to middle school students that gave them life skills to lead successful lives, while staying true to who they are. She also served as an educator adviser to Challenge Day, whose powerful program was documented in MTV’s reality series “If You Really Knew Me.”

Sara has been published in the best-selling book, Speaking Your Truth: Courageous Stories from Inspiring Women, Volume 2, and was a regular contributor to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Sara holds a B.A. in Sociology and History, with a focus on the social oppression of race, gender and sexuality from Lehigh University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She holds a Certified Teaching Credential from St. Mary’s College and did graduate work in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Transpersonal Psychology, at John F. Kennedy University.

Sara currently lives in Poughkeepsie, NY. In her free time, Sara loves to travel, dance and spend time with her family and friends.
